Mr Steven opened the practice as single handed surgery with one chair back in 1998, working in Chester Street, Edinburgh. The current practice was purchased in 2004, with the conversion to a purpose built 3 surgery practice completed in 2005. The practice was further improved in 2011 with another surgery created, enhanced sterilisation facilities and an x-ray suite. This placed the practice at the gold standard for equipment and facilities.
All dental practitioners of the team have been fully committed to post graduate education and training. All other staff have been trained to the highest standard. Mr Steven and Mr Boyd have completed extensive training in advanced restorative dentistry, allowing the practice to provide the most advanced dental care.
The practice has also provided training and mentoring to newly qualified dentists. To date 12 young colleagues have been nurtured and supported through the formative stages of their career. The practice is one of the most highly regarded in Scotland for this training, initially from Mr Steven and now Mr Boyd.
Been attending Stuart's practice since his days in Chester Street. Excellent service and staff always very friendly. I've just completed a course of implant work (seven in all) and the procedure, treatment and aftercare were second to none, but glad it's all over lol. Looking forward to returning to 6 monthly check ups. Thanks again to Stuart and the Team.
Never liked going too the dentist but now it's a breeze , professional and friendly . Had 5 teeth out never felt a thing . Robbie Rocks !!!!

I recently joined Stuart's practice in May and can honestly say that I am extremely impressed! The whole team are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and have all the modern equipment. Stuart carried out some cosmetic work on my front teeth including a front crown and white filling to close the gap that had gradually developed over the years. I could not have expected a better result! I have my smile back, which to me is priceless. Massive thanks to Stuart (and the team) for doing such a great job. Lisa-Ann
I have to say that after 10 days the implant bridge is a great success. It is fabulous to be without the denture.
I am delighted with the whole treatment. I was made fully aware of all the options for my mouth and the costs involved with detailed explanations of all the stages.
